What I think:
I can only really compare it with my pervious shampoo ORS Aloe which I know use for clarifying. This shampoo makes my hair feel clean and is not drying. It lathes well.
After a free weeks if I have product build up or dandruff it was not the best shampoo, and had to go back to my ORS Aloe Shampoo to clarify my hair and scalp and then I would go back to my Tresemme shampoo in the following wash. The added bonus is it has no silicones which everyone cries about, need to do more research before I can say this is good or bad.

This product is value for money for £5 you get 900ml wealth of shampoo, I started using it at the start of my hair journey in January this year and 6 months later it’s still here, this is will weekly shampoo washes twice each wash. So I would definitely be repurchasing it.

At the moment I have seen that Tresemme are doing a lower sulphate Nourishing Moisture shampoo, which I will buy when the one am using is finished just to get more moisture in my washes as I don’t co wash.

Reviewing the 2 shampoos the different is the vibrantly smooth shampoo has got an extra sulphate (Ammonium Laureth Sulfate ) product while the nourshing one has an extra alcohol ingredient (Amino Methyl Propanol), and the oils in the shampoos are also different the vibrantly smooth one has coconut oil and Jojoba oil, while the nourshing shampoo has Aloe Vera and Avocado Oil. My thoughts these two shampoos should not really give you significantly different results, so will try it!

Comments
Breakage - saw a significant decrease
Overall style - hair was still water but had I had more time it looked like it would be a winner, so will try it again
Vatika deep conditioner - I haven't noticed any colouring of my hair due to the henna, my hair feels soft and moisturised and not as dry and crunchy as it was.

Overall think it was a good wash day, just need to control the breaking to a minimum!

Breaking hair!!!

Argh!!! My hair is consistently breaking and shedding I am losing so much hair I am surprised I haven't gone bald yet.

I am thinking I have a protein overload :( I don't even know how, I haven't used any strong protein treatments! Sniff sniff. And to make it worse I think my hair line is dropping off too! Oh this hair journey has seen me have my worst hair condition, I really need to cut it but its killing me :(

This week I will try find Jenijen's most raved about Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Treatment, as it helped her with her shedding in the past, from reading her older blogs.

Also I am going to get Vatika deep conditioner, this is a moisturising conditioner.

I will try find some garlic based shampoo.

My plan if action this week

1. Deep condition twice with moisturising conditioner

2. Black tea rinse twice this week

3. M&S every other day

4. Moisturise my hair line every other day with castor oil

Please help! Hoping it changes soon

Relaxer day

This relaxer day was an emotional day for me, my hair did not look or feel how I thought it did.

In my head my hair is healthy and growing, but after my relaxer and my first flat iron in 6 months I was not happy with my thin ends, the brittleness of my hair,  my hair was/is breaking and badly at that! now I know my hair is lacking moisture! Also looking at my ends am really wanting to cut them all off, I recouped myself M&Sed in the morning and high bunned my hair. My plan of action is simple to get my hair to a good state

1. Deep condition twice a week at least 15 mins heat cap treatment
2. Prepoo with an oil
3. Use moisture based conditioners and shampoos
4. Moisturise and seal every other day!
5 No direct heat, pass only on relaxer days
6. Use my hair spritz every day
7 bunning, bunning, bunning and wearing an instant weave

I will not be trimming my ends at the moment because I don't think I have split end just thin ends and will start cutting an inch off every month until I get fuller ends

Any suggestions?

12 weeks post

I have finally reached it 12 weeks post! I was going to relax my hair next week at 13 weeks post a round 3 months figure but I have decided you know what I have been super good so far 12 weeks should be a good enough mark!

So my plan is to relax my hair at home on Thursday (or the weekend), will document what I do during my relaxer and will be length checking my hair as well, my last length check had me at APL, am hoping for a full APL length and health ends.  I am also due for a mini trim/dusting.

Learning posts from the past stretch

1.  DC always, even twice weekly (though I never attempted it once)
2. Tea rinses were really good for shedding, further down in my stretch, I noticed more hair shedding, I need to keep on with the tea rinse, or try coffee rinses.
3. M&S more often!
4. Break my stretch with a new hair style like I did with my box braids.

I am planning to stretch for 4 months this time around, that will be 16 to 17 weeks post relaxer, but will see with how my hair feels, also I plan on using Paul Mitchell’s super skinny treatment, as the whole world raves about it.

Till my relaxer, hhj folks
