Hair Update |11 months post Relaxer

The last time I wrote a post on my blog I was a day shy of being 9 month post relaxer. I am currently 11 months post and counting down to my 1 year post relaxer day in the New Year (10th Jan).

The time has gone by very quickly, it's surreal.

Here are a few styles I have had in the last 2 months.

It has been a huge learning curve with my new hair, if I am completely honest I had lost the spike with my hair in the last 4-2 months, it is too short to bun and it got me missing my longer relaxed hair, also as am getting more and more natural hair my hair is shrinking more and more, I can't tell the difference between my texlaxed and natural hair, not sure if I have anymore texlaxed hair, I have been cutting my hair every fortnight. My last trim was getting all texlaxed ends I could see. So, as far as I know, I don't have any more texlaxed ends, though I can't say my hair has grown this long in 11 months, so am convinced I still have relaxed ends which I need a stylist to sort out.

My hope for 2016 is to fall back in love with my hair and get more length to get able to quickly tuck my hair up quickly.

My general weekly wash days have not changed, am happy this hasn't changed, as it has been helpful for me to have a standard routine as I have been going through a love hate relationship with my hair....but now its all but love....
