1 Year Hair Anniversary

Today is my 1 year hair anniversary, yeah I cannot believe it’s been a full 365 of DC, M&S, tea rinsing! Wow, it’s so in my system, thank you for all the lovely ladies who supported me through it all!!!

It’s been a time of highs – getting my longest length in September even and lows – protein over load, thinning hair line, and bad ends!!!

This has been my results through the year

16th January 2013 – hair journey started, I was in a weave so my first picture was taken in February

First relaxer on my journey was 15th March 2013 (relaxer #1) - SL

Next 6th June 2013 (12 weeks later – hair was breaking badly) (relaxer #2) – between SL

Next 7th September (learnt all the good stuff started blogging more and got my longest length grazing APL) (relaxer #3) – grazing APL

4th January my last relaxer was a few days ago, and here is where I am now!

The things am looking for this year

1.     Continue length retention

2.    Continue blogging

3.    Shooting for BSL for my 2nd year anniversary!!

Happy Hair Journeys Ladies! :0)

  1. Happy 1 Year Anniversary! Look at the thickness and health you have acquired! Congrats on the progress and I can't wait to see what Year 2 has in store for you! To me, Year 2 is so much easier because you have an idea of what works and what doesn't. It is almost like autopilot! You can sit back and let your hair grow grow grow!

    1. Thank you! It was both an exciting and nervous year. I do hope this year will be more easy breezy and I can just let the hair grow grow grow!
